The golf course is a 27-hole course located west of Boca Raton featuring “Environmental Turf Grass” (Seashore Paspalum) on greens, tees, and fairways; The par 72 facility consists of three 9-hole courses that may be played in three 18-hole combinations. The facility has a full-length double ended range, two practice putting greens, and two practice chipping greens. Each hole has five tees from which to play to accommodate various levels of players. The facility also includes a clubhouse and food and beverage concession area. LPGA and PGA instructors are available for group and private instruction. Osprey Point Golf Course consists of approximately 200 acres, of which the golf course makes up 194 acres. Lakes and internal wetlands account for 17 acres. Natural areas, coquina waste bunkers and cart paths account for 69 acres and the remainder is used for parking areas and support facilities. The course began construction in 2007 and began operating in November 2010. Osprey Point Golf Course was recognized by Audubon International as a Certified Classic Sanctuary in 2011, the first of its kind in Florida. In 2015, Osprey Point became the first Classic Sanctuary in the world to be re-certified.
